Annually, April celebrates National Minority Health Month with this year’s theme focused on “Active & Healthy.”
The theme promotes that even small amounts of physical activity reduces
the risk of chronic conditions that are more common or severe among
racial and ethnic minority groups. New evidence also shows that any amount of physical activity has health benefits and that you reap immediate benefits from just moving more during the day.
