Just wanted to share with
you all some photos from the April 8th Easter Marian Anderson Event at
the Philadelphia Convention Center, which celebrated the historical
triumphant of the singer's Lincoln Memorial concert.
First photo is me and Blanche Burton Lyles,
Founder/President and Phyllis Sims, Curator and Director Marian Anderson
Museum and Foundation.
Performers included the 2012 Marian Anderson Scholars.
I
look forward to conducting next seasons the Gala event at the Kimmel
Center and working on the new opera written for Marian Anderson.
