Gail Barnes: 'The CD can be ordered from Nicola's Bookstore in Ann Arbor and from the Taft Museum of Art in Cincinnati, Ohio.'

[Magnolias, Gail Davis Barnes, pianist (2001) (53:28)]

On April 7, 2012 AfriClassical posted:

“Pianist Gail Davis Barnes released her CD Magnolias in 2001. The program consists of Scenes From An Imaginary Ballet, Op. 74 by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (1875-1912) and Magnolia Suite by R. Nathaniel Dett (1882-1943).”

Both composers are profiled at AfriClassical.com, which features a Works List for each by Prof. Dominique-René de Lerma, http://www.CasaMusicaledeLerma.com.  We have enjoyed the CD since it was released, and have given several copies as gifts. We recently asked Gail Barnes if the CD could still be ordered. She has made this reply:

Hello Bill,
The CD can be ordered from Nicola's Bookstore in Ann Arbor and from the Taft Museum of Art in Cincinnati, Ohio. I will be looking into online sources of selling as soon as my second recording is finished. Thanks for your continuing interest and promotion of this beautiful music.
All the Best
Gail”
