For the fourth year in a row, BBC Radio 3 will spend International Women's Day righting wrongs.

Radio 3 is slated to celebrate female composers excluded from the narrative of musical history. And for the first time this year, the station has a call out for young female composers on the BBC Introducing page.

On March 8, the 2 million weekly listeners of Radio 3 will experience previously unheard works by five historical female composers who have been historically neglected, including American composer Florence Price, have been specially-recorded by the BBC Orchestras and Choirs and BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists.
