The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) Honors Mother's Day, May 12, 2019
[Alexandria, VA] On Mother's Day weekend, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) wishes all mothers and families a day of celebration, shared love, and renewed connections.
"Now more than ever, the importance of a strong family cannot
be overstated. Mother's Day reminds us to show respect and love to our
mothers, grandmothers, and those with maternal qualities who often
form the foundation for our families," says Vera Bumpers, President of
NOBLE. "At NOBLE, we are committed to advancing the cause of justice in
our communities, but without deep family connections and shared goals,
those communities will not thrive. Accordingly, we both recognize and
sincerely thank all mothers for their compassion, strength and sacrifice
in caring for their families, and we wish you all a joy-filled Mother's
Day."
This year, Mother's Day is celebrated in the United States on Sunday, May 12.
