Former Mount Vernon resident Roy Eaton is an award-winning concert pianist. His first Carnegie Hall performance was in 1937, and he won the first ever Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin award in 1950.
Two years in the Army and 30 years as the first Black "Mad Man" in advertising at Young & Rubicam and Benton & Bowles "temporarily" interrupted his career as a concert pianist.
