Eric Conway: The Evening Sun: 'The MLK event honored former teachers Judy and Bill Leslie with the annual Living the Dream Award' at Gettysburg College

Morgan State University Choir

Eric Conway led the Morgan State University Choir on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Gettysburg College's 35th Annual Tribute to the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.  He forwards the cover of the program, as well as a report in the local newspaper, The Evening Sun:

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, the Morgan State University Choir sang for an annual MLK event in Gettysburg, PA.  The event was in the beautiful Chapel of Gettysburg College.  The Morgan choir has participated in this event many times over the 35 years of this event, with legendary speakers like Julian Bond, Andrew Young, and Maya Angelou to name a few.  Yesterday, the speaker was Jay Smooth, the founder and host of New York City's longest running hip-hop radio program, "The Underground Railroad."  See attached a scanned copy of the program and an article that appeared in a digital newspaper, hours after the event.
