David L. Tigner Death Notice

David L. Tigner Renowned bass-baritone, David L. Tigner,
died of chronic renal and congestive heart failure on
December 11, 2012. A child prodigy David was born on
May 28, 1951 in Santa Rosa, CA to Joseph and Mary

Tigner. David sang extensively all over the bay area, NY
and London and will be remembered for his outstanding
performances of the Verdi's Requiem, and Handel's
Messiah. His legacy as a great voice teacher will live on
in the students he influenced over the 27 years as
instructor at UC Berkeley's Young Musician's Program.
