The Georgia Laster Branch of the National Association of Negro Musicians, Inc., will present its 15th Annual Spotlight on Youth Talent Showcase Performance at 3:00 PM, on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Crenshaw United Methodist Church, 3740 Don Felipe Drive, Los Angeles, CA.

This is an annual event that provides an opportunity for the GLB members, friends and supporters to see and hear the quality of some of the most recent and past 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner of our annual scholarship competition.  Many of this year's performers have already begun their professional careers, and happily return to 'give back to the community' as well as inspire upcoming generations.

This event is produced by the GLB Scholarship Committee which is chaired by Dorothy Jackson-Hayes and co-chaired by Gloria Lindsay.  Some of our past winner performers include: violinist Annelle Gregory, internationally acclaimed tenor Ashley Faatoalia, nationally recognized lyric soprano Jennifer Lindsay, violinist Victor Ekpo, internationally known jazz/classical pianist Mahesh Balassoriya, jazz flautist Sarah Johnson, jazz basist Jonathan Richards and more.  The 15th Annual Spotlight on Youth Talent Showcase Performance is an event not to be missed - and is free to the public.
