ASALH Announces Charles Bibbs As New Artist-In-Residence

Washington, DC - (July 3, 2012) Charles Bibbs, one of the premier gatekeepers and master craftsman of African American artistry, culture and ethnicity has been announced as the new Artist-In-Residence for the Association for the Study of Life and History (ASALH) for June 1, 2012 through December 31, 2015. Painting masterful strokes and poetic vision beyond imagination, Bibbs has become world renowned for his commitment to the preservation and true appreciation for the beauty of African American culture. 
 
With the new appointment, he will design unique and detailed artwork that will visually interpret the annual programmatic theme of Black History as determined by ASALH that will be available for purchase. Bibbs will also create high quality Giclee's using archival inks on 100% specially treated watercolor paper stock that will be reproduced in quantities of 250 limited editions that will be signed and numbered by the artist.
