The African American pianist Roy Eaton tells AfriClassical he will appear as guest soloist at the 2008 Vocal Competition of the Harlem Opera Theater. It will be held at the Apollo Theater Soundstage, 253 W. 125th St., 3rd Floor, New York City at 6:30 pm Friday, June 20. Roy will perform works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, George Gershwin and Scott Joplin.
