Attorney General Eric Holder Leadership Award


The Eric Holder Leadership Award will be awarded for extraordinary law enforcement leadership performed in the line of duty. It distinguishes a law enforcement chief executive whose leadership goes above and beyond the call of duty. This award recognizes law enforcement leaders who have made a positive and significant difference in their agency, community, and to the law enforcement profession. This award applauds those in leadership who have significantly helped bridge the gap that sometimes exists between the community and law enforcement.
 
Eligibility
  • Sworn law enforcement officer status.
  • 10+ years of law enforcement command level experience.
Criteria for Consideration

Nominee has demonstrated exemplary leadership service to the law enforcement profession in areas including:
  • Leadership
  • Innovation
  • Educational Development
  • Mentoring/Training
  • Community Engagement
  • Commendations
 Nominator Guidelines
  • Provide information about nominee's achievements.
  • How has the person demonstrated the criteria for consideration? 
  • Provide notable accomplishments, including copies of newspaper articles, copies of documents, to reinforce the nomination.
  • Provide information on the nominee's leadership position.
  • Nominator should provide a brief write up to support the nomination.
 Submission Process
  • Nominations may be made by chapter presidents, regional vice presidents, executive board members, and the broader law enforcement community. No self-nomination is permitted.
 Deadline
  • 2020 Nomination forms are due to the NOBLE Headquarters by Friday, June 26, 2020.  Email form to dcrawford@noblenatl.org.
 Approval Process
  • Applications are reviewed and approved by the NOBLE Executive Board.
