Nine Encores: Nigerian pianist set to release sophomore EP

Nigerian pianist Echezonachukwu Nduka’s sophomore EP titled Nine Encores is set to be released by Apotheosis Art House on January 9, 2019. Nduka’s sophomore is coming months after the release of his debut EP, Choreowaves, which has since been featured on BBC Newsday, Radio Nacional Clasica de Argentina, Classical Journey Ep. 134, African Composers, among others.

In Nine Encores, there are  nine short pieces by Chopin, Uzoigwe, Onovwerosuoke, Beethoven, Onyeji, Tchaikovsky, Schumann, and Prokofiev in a recording duration of 16 minutes approximately.
Selected pieces, save Uzoigwe, Onovwerosuoke, and Onyeji, have since become favorite encore pieces in the standard piano repertoire. In this new offering, Nduka seeks to present first hand, the sublimity of a varied  program with both standard and new works in the classical piano repertoire.

Nine Encores will be available  for streaming on all digital platforms on its date of release.
