As a follow up to MusicUNTOLD August 12, 2018 blog announcing the public airing of the original recording of Black Pearls: The Poetry Of Maya Angelou with jazz interludes by composer Ed Bland during State Assembly member Reggie Jones-Sawyer Sr. End of Summer Concert and Cultural Festival, MusicUNTOLD received the following note from Mary, wife of Ed Bland, "Ed's archive of handwritten scores, taped radio interviews, and various documents are being housed in Yale University's Beinecke Library, the James Weldon Johnson Collection of African American Arts & Letters. The archive is in the process of being catalogued and will, hopefully, be available to researchers this coming fall 2019."
