The Los Angeles Philharmonic 100th anniversary season include a commission to composer Adolphus Hailstork. The world premiere of STILL HOLDING ON is Sunday February 17, 2019, Disney Concert Hall.

See https://www.laphil.com/events/performances/246/2019-02-17/william-grant-still-the-harlem-renaissance-symphony-no-4/. I asked Dr. Hailstork if the title "STILL HOLDING ON" referenced William Grant Still.  He responded "In a way John.  I use motive quotes from  WGS symphony no. 1, but use the word still as a reference to us and others who have struggled and are coping in tough times."
MusicUNTOLD commissioned visual artist CJ Latimore, https://cjlatimore.com/, to create a unique award for composer Hailstork that will be presented during a special event contiguous to the premiere. Date, time, and location of presentation TBD. See Pic 1 Adolphus Hailstork, Pic 2 CJ Latimore
