John Malveaux of
writes:
The Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, and other historically
significant tax exempt organizations have presented programs honoring
the legacy or contributions by artists of African descent in classical
music or opera at their location. However, I am unaware of a similar
effort or program at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Hollywood Bowl or a Los
Angeles tax exempt organization such as LA Opera, Los Angeles
Philharmonic, or LA Chamber Orchestra.
