Berlin, http://www.edwardaberlin.com, author of King of Ragtime: Scott Joplin and His Era, is scheduled to give a presentation at the May 25, 2013 Scott Joplin concert at St. Michael's Cemetery of East Elmhurst, according to the following article in the Gazette of Queens:

“This year’s Joplin concert promises to the best of all the years
past,” said St. Michael’s Cemetery Director of Community Relations Ed
Horn.
“The BBQ and support of our benefactors will help to feed hundreds of people who are invited to come and enjoy live music.”
St. Michael’s Cemetery of East Elmhurst will be holding its annual
salute to Ragtime pioneer Scott Joplin on May 25 at 2:00 p.m. with its
Scott Joplin Memorial Concert. Free and open to the public, St.
Michael’s will be providing a BBQ and beverages featuring Sugar Hill
beer from the Harlem Brewing Company. The concert is also made possible
by Gus Antonopoulos of Farenga Funeral Home, George Stamatiades of
Thomas M. Quinn & Sons Funeral Home and David Funeral Home, Drago
Funeral Home and John Golden of Martin Gleason Funeral Home. Dr. Ed
Berlin will be giving a presentation.
“St. Michael’s celebrates life and the Joplin concert allows everyone to do so,” Horn said.
