Violinist Gregory Walker Performs Live on Paganini Program, KGNU Radio 8:35-9:00 AM Tuesday, October 16

Violinist Gregory Walker writes:

Dear Friends,

This Tuesday, October 16th, from 8:35-9:00 am, I've just been invited to perform during radio station KGNU's fund drive - on a program devoted to the music of Niccolo Paganini.  The live performance and interview will then be available at http://www.kgnu.org/howonearth .  Here's what host Jim Pullen emailed me yesterday:

"The subject of the show will be how a genetic defect, leading to
Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, may have enabled the great violinist's
extraordinary dexterity and ability to play difficult works. I have a
clip from my interview with author Sam Kean, who titled his newest book,
The Violinist's Thumb, after this story. So we'll take turns talking about the book and to you
about Paganini. Thinking on the X-Men, I guess my basic wonder is, does a violinist have to be a superhuman to play Paganini!?"

At 8:35 am on a Tuesday morning, there may be a simple answer to his question...

Best,

Gregory
