OperaCréole Celebrates Afro-British Composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor on the centennial of his death with scenes from his opera 'Thelma' 5 PM Sept. 23

Givonna Joseph, Founder and Director of OperaCréole, sends this announcement:

Hello Mr. Zick.

Hope you are well. We are still trying to re-adjust from Hurricane Isaac down here. Rehearsals got behind, but we are looking forward to performing on Sunday.

I am so happy that Dr. DeLerma suggested we look into doing Coleridge-Taylor's work.

I wish you could hear our newest member, Ivan Griffin, bass-baritone sing the role of King Olaf. He is wonderful
