Hello Morgan State University Community Art Enthusiasts,
On
this coming Thursday, September 13, 2012, 6:00-9:00 PM, the Fine and
Performing Arts Department will host an opening reception for the
"Con10poraries" Art Exhibition in the James E Lewis Museum of Art.
This
"Con10poraries" Art exhibition hosts 10 of America's most influential
African-American Artists. All are artists who have presented
exhibitions during the first 10 years in the new Murphy Fine Arts
Center. All artists were presented during this 10-year period under the
auspices of the Departmental Visiting Artist Series.
Artists include:
Larry Poncho Brown, Sylvia Walker, Charles Bibbs, Synthia Saint James,
Paul Goodnight, Valerie Maynard, James Denmark, Phyllis Stephens, Charly
Palmer, and Grace Kisa. Please come out to this opening event and see
some world-class Art!
