An excerpt from the ballet "Lenox
Avenue", William Grant Still's panorama of life in 1930's Harlem. This
movement is titled simply "Blues". This famous arrangement was created
by Louis Kaufmann, who was Still's friend and one of the greatest
violinists America has ever produced.
