Hello everyone,
The Fine and Performing Arts
Department will continue the 2012 celebration of ten years in the new
Murphy Fine Arts Center with several significant productions and
exhibits. The first major event this new academic year is from our
Visual Arts area. Our Visual Arts area, guided by faculty member Joseph
Ford, has put together a month-long Art Exhibit in the James E Lewis
Gallery of the work of the many international artists who have presented
at Morgan over the 10 year period of the Murphy Fine Arts Center.
These artists are all national and international artists who are
anxious to return to Morgan and display their wares.
In
an effort to support this effort, as the exhibit begins on September
1st, please click on the link below to see a short presentation of the
exhibit and artists, and more importantly a way for you to make a
donation in this effort. During this Kickstarter campaign, we are
trying to raise $5,000 by the August 24. If we reach this level by this
date, we will receive all the the pledged amounts, otherwise, we do not
get anything. we have 7 days left! Please take a moment to see this
short video of the artist and their work. Please support this campaign.
Thank you.
