Xak Bjerken

Virginia Kay is the daughter of the African American composer Ulysses Kay (1917-1995), who is featured at AfriClassical.com.  Virginia forwards Xak Bjerken's essay, "Finding My Way to Kay" along with a recording of him performing Ulysses Kay's Inventions. She writes:

Last November  Cornell professor Xak Bjerken  interviewed me about my Dad for their archives. He posted his performance of Dad's Inventions  along with the interview on the Cornell Center for Historical Keyboards website: <https://www.historicalkeyboards.org/2020/11/20/xak-bjerken-plays-ulysses-kays-inventions/>.

Here's wishing you the best. Stay safe and

Be well,
Virginia
