“Hiawatha's Vision” S. Coleridge Taylor: T. Cunningham, arr., Sidney Outlaw, Baritone

Dear Friends of the Burleigh Society,

Did you know that Harry T. Burleigh sang this aria in 1906, at the invitation of Samuel Coleridge Taylor? It has been the Burleigh Society’s honor to feature performances like this, and we want to extend support to these remarkable artists during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Burleigh Society’s Artist Relief Fund will give an unrestricted, non-taxable grant to each artist who has performed at a Society event.

We are making progress, thanks to your support. If you haven’t had a chance to yet, please consider giving.

Seed funding of $50,000 will match your donation 2:1! 100% of donations will go directly to individual artists. We are accepting donations for the Artist Relief Fund through May 15, 2020

Thank you for joining us to support musicians in Burleigh’s legacy,

Marti Slaten and Lynne Foote
