'Classical Discoveries' on radio honors Nelson Mandela Dec. 26, 2013, first day of Kwanzaa, 1-5 PM ET; Music of Michael Mosoeu Moerane (1909-1981)

On this first day of Kwanzaa, 2013, Classical Discoveries will present a special program in memory of the first black president of the Republic of South Africa featuring music of South African composers.

Hommage to Nelson M. for solo cello and percussion, Op. 27 by German composer Wilhelm Kaiser-Lindemann (1940-2010)
