New England Conservatory Announces December Streaming Slate
The New England Conservatory has announced a slew of programs that it
will present via its streaming platform throughout the month of
December. For the purposes of this article, our focus will be on vocal
and operatic showcases. All the showcases can be viewed on the
institution’s official website.

The NEC Chamber Singers will perform music by Black composers including Ysaye M. Barnwell, R. Nathaniel Dett, Jens Ibsen, B.E. Boykin, Undine Smith Moore, and José Mauricio Nunes Garcia. Among the soloists in the performance are Edward Ferran, Jonathan Lawlor, Samantha Fox, Madeleine Wiegers, and Maxwell Herman
