National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE)
Honors The Lives of Those Lost During 9/11
[Alexandria, VA] Today,
the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE)
commemorates the 18th anniversary of September 11. We join the nation in
honoring the extraordinary sacrifice that our nation endured on that
day.
"September
11, 2001, is forever etched in our nation's history. We will never
forget the lives lost or the heroes who were born on that day. Our
nation came together in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks to
confront an enemy we barely knew and to demonstrate, no matter what,
that we would rise again stronger and more confident in our beliefs,"
said NOBLE National President Cerelyn "CJ" Davis.
"As
we reflect on the 18th anniversary of that dark day, we want to express
our sincere condolences to those directly impacted by September 11. The
thousands of first responders and average people who responded or
assisted with the recovery will forever live in our hearts. Our nation
owes them our eternal gratitude for their service."
