Home series will have a Martin Luther King Day Celebration at 3 p.m.
Jan. 20. Louise Toppin, a soprano, and John O’Brien, pianist, will
perform African-American art songs. Toppin is a renowned scholar and
performer of African-American art songs. She is on the faculty of the
University of Michigan and is the former chairwoman of the Department of
Music at UNC Chapel Hill. Free, donations accepted. For more
