Join us for an innovative night of new music, new art and new
experiences at the San Diego Art Institute. This Hearing the
Future Festival concert is the culmination of a 10-week residency at A
Reason To Survive (ARTS) where Art of Élan musicians mentored advanced music
students on a weekly basis. Student compositions will be premiered and
performed by Art of Élan with festival curator Matt Aucoin's Dual
for cello and double bass closing out the evening, featuring San Diego
Symphony cellist Andrew Hayhurst and principal bassist Jeremy
Kurtz-Harris.
