Key To Change: This Tuesday, join us in giving back to underserved students

#Giving Tuesday is just two days away!

This Tuesday, join us in giving back to underserved students in South King County.

Severe cuts to public school arts funding have put music education out of reach for many students in this region. Key to Change works to inspire these students through weekly violin and viola lessons, master classes, college preparation seminars, scholarships, and more. We believe that all students should have access to affordable educational opportunities, and every student deserves a chance to grow creatively and professionally.

Now is the Season for Change. Because of the dedication of donors like you, our students receive unique opportunities to grow as musicians and individuals. Last month, internationally-acclaimed violinists Daniel Ching  and Irina Muresanu taught master classes to our students, providing hands-on mentorship to improve their skills and performance. Thanks to an in-kind gift, our students also got to attend a concert featuring cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason with the Seattle Symphony at Benaroya Hall.

The importance of these opportunities to participate in the professional music realm is vital to our students’ development and success. With your support, we can further expand our efforts to create positive change through music.

Please join us on #GivingTuesday by making a gift to our Season of Change Campaign as we work to raise $25,000 toward student scholarships. Your tax-deductible gift will go directly toward providing violin and viola lessons to students in South King County. Together, we can create a better future for our aspiring young musicians.
