Violinist Gregory Walker was a concerto soloist in the March 2015 Detroit Symphony Orchestra
Classical Roots Celebration, and the composer of that concerto is none
other than his father, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, educator and
pianist George Walker. Chris Felcyn talks with them both in this clip from “The
