“The mezzo-soprano from Maryland, who specializes in playing Carmen and Delilah, will perform in recital. The MusicUntold Chorale, which was formed to perform at the last Long Beach Juneteenth celebration in Martin Luther King Park, will open for Graves.

“Originally from Washington, D.C., Graves made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York in 1995 and has performed in opera houses and concert halls around the world since then.
