Boston's own Cantata Singers sets the mood for the holidays with "Of All The Kings,' led by Anthony Trecek-King, conductor and Music Director Finalist.

Of all the Kings celebrates the perspectives not traditionally
considered. Works of incredible beauty, featuring Western European,
African American, and Asian influences shine a bright and glorious light
on the story of Christmas, seen by the Three Kings, in particular. Taking center-place is Margaret Bonds’ delightful and moving setting of Langston Hughes’ poetry, The Ballad of the Brown King. Hear the story of Christmas over the centuries through uplifted voices, lush harmonies, and magical
melodies.

Including 4 ensemble premieres! - R. Nathaniel Dett's Ave Maria; Jonathan Dove's The Three Kings; Margaret Bonds' The Ballad of the Brown King; and  Angels We Have Heard on High, arranged by Saunder Choi. Plus works by Schutz, Poulenc, and, of course, Bach.
