Ronée Boyce, piano with Sujari Britt, cello
Toronto, Ontario - On Saturday, April 23, 2016, 7:30 pm, Canada's Neapolitan Connection Concert Series will present the concert production, Sensational Sujari! the Arts & Letters Club in Downtown Toronto, featuring the prodigious talents of New York-based cellist Sujari Britt.
The chosen concert repertoire features excerpts from 2 of J.S. Bach's
Suites for Solo Cello, along with cello and piano duo works by Camille
Saint Saens, Giulio Caccini and Olivier Messiaen.
Sujari Britt, who began her cello
studies at 4 years of age, has made waves on the classical music scene,
and has already achieved a number of very impressive musical accolades,
including a White House performance for the President with the
internationally-acclaimed cellist Alisa Weilerstein , two Carnegie Hall
appearances, and many media features. Now age 14, Sujari has already
begun her studies at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music
College-Level Division.
Performing with Sujari in this special concert production is Toronto-based pianist Ronée Boyce,
who completed a solo piano tour of Western Canada last month. "Sujari's
Toronto visit is something we have been anticipating for some time
now," said Boyce. "I'm very glad that she is finally coming to Toronto
this spring, and that Canadian audiences will have a chance to hear her
live for the first time." Boyce and Britt will also present this recital
performance for audiences next week in Ottawa, Ontario.
