New York, NY (April, 15, 2016) –On Saturday, April 30, 2016, N’Kenge, vocal siren and
Broadway Diva, is one of the premiere vocalists
interpreting lyrics by Josh Kight, an emerging musical

theatre composer, at the famous Feinstein’s 54 Below (254 W. 54th Street (cellar); 11:30pm (doors @ 11:00
pm)) in New York City.
N’Kenge is the go-to voice for the industry’s emerging
musical theatre composers, as she was a part of the
musical theatre composers, as she was a part of the
2014 VOX POP; Songs of David Davila show at 54
Below. In addition, N'Kenge worked with many original
works during her graduate studies at the Juilliard
School through Joel Sach's New Juilliard Ensemble
featuring International classical composers such as
Alessandro Rossi and others. As a working performing
artist; N’Kenge also makes time to hone the talent of
young students with an interest in classical music by
utilizing her expertise in this field. She is a board
member of The Coalition of African Americans in
Performing Arts (CAAPA) and earlier this month,
conducted a successful vocal master class at Morgan
State University. It is this effortless dedication and
love for preserving classical arts that she continues to
share with eager bodies, and has given over 200 solo
recitals and masterclasses under the auspices of
Columbia Artists Community concert series throughout
the country showcasing the work of new composers.

Orchestra’s throughout the country for their Pops
programs; and is a co-producer, along with starring as
Queen Ti, in the Broadway bound production Akhenaten:
The Musical; produced by Hisham Abdel Khalek with a
book by Hisham Abdel Khalek and Mohamed Metwally
(Lyrics) and music by Hesham Nazih. Check out the

N’Kenge will be joined onstage by Marissa McGowan; Elias Wygodny; and Katherine Allison for a night of great song, where Josh Kight will bring contemporary musical theatre, with a touch of timeless classics to his new book of songs.
Hailed by the New York Times as “a classically trained
diva that can stretch from Broadway, Pop, Soul to
Opera. N'Kenge made her Broadway debut in Sondheim
on Sondheim alongside Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams,
Norm Lewis and Tom Wopat which was directed by Pulitzer
Prize winner James Lapine. In London, N’Kenge made her West End debut starring in The Genius of Ray Charles. N'Kenge starred in the Michael Jackson Tribute Show World Tour and has also been seen as a soloist with Maestro
Steve Reineke at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops
Orchestra as well as working with Conductor Jack Everly
at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra; Cincinnati
Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, and Sarasota
Symphony to name a few.
