A choral festival concert will feature 200 singers from 10 historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), including Bethune-Cookman University.
The 21st Southeastern African American Collegiate Choral Music
Festival will present a concert at 5 p.m. Saturday April 25 at the Mary
McLeod Bethune Performing Arts Center, 698 W. International Speedway
Blvd., Daytona Beach.
Tickets are $15, free for students. For information, call 386-481-2745.
Composer
Adolphus Hailstork, who is in residence at the festival conducting
workshops, will conduct his choral work at the concert.
