Eric Conway writes:
Happy Holidays everyone!
Many of you know
that during this season I constantly run between Christmas performances
as a professional musician - the most wonderful time of the year!
Yesterday, I conducted a performance with soloists, choir, and orchestra. The title of the piece was The Hope of Christmas arr.
by Dave Williamson. I sent out a last-minute notice about this event,
however, only a few were able to make the presentation. I had my
camcorder running, and taped the Miracle Temple Sanctuary Choir singing
this cleverly written Christmas cantata.
The
cantata was sung during the normal 11:00 a.m. Sabbath service to a full
house. This church does not typically stop at the first coming of
Christ, but goes on to sing about His second-coming in singing Midnight
Cry originally recorded by Brooklyn Tabernacle.
Please
see links below to the Christmas cantata and Midnight Cry finale. I am
sure that you will enjoy this spirited presentation in embracing
Christmas season.
