A CHANCE TO LEND A HAND...   SUPPORT GREAT  ART. MAKE GREAT  FRIENDS. We are looking for volunteer ushers, box  office staff and production  assistants for  "The Color Purple". Most of our volunteer opportunities do not require you  to have special skills, just a smile and the willingness to  work. Ushers and box office staff are a vital part  of our front-of-house operations, providing excellent  customer service and aid to our patrons. Productions   assistants work backstage and help keep the show  running smoothly. USHERS:  Assist house management with ticket  collections, handing out programs, selling concession s  (before the show and at intermission) and coat check,  among other duties during the course of a performance.  In return for your service, ushers are able to watch the  performance during their shift (if seats are available). BOX OFFICE: Assist box office management with  ticket sales and will-call, assist with answering calls, other duties as assigned. PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS: Assist stage  management with backstage needs including, but not  limited to, moving set pieces, setting props, help with  quick changes.
