Hello, All!

If you are free this coming Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. EDT, I extend an invitation to everyone here to attend a free, live-streamed concert from The American Prize sponsored by the Christman Opera Company comprised of songs receiving their first performances by mezzo-soprano Madison Marie McIntosh with pianist Gregory Ritchie. Ms. McIntosh, who is the recipient of The American Prize for vocal performance in the women's professional opera division, will premiere songs by Theodore Christman, Antonio Covello, Ted Ganger, Michael Polo, Amy Scurria, Myron Silberstein, Webster Young and yours truly.

My work will be represented by "A Reminiscence", the first of my Five Songs on Poems of Anne Brontë which were initially penned between 1988 to 1989 and revised over a period of time from 2012 until 2020. This will be the first time anyone has heard one of these songs away from my mockups which are posted on SoundCloud. And there are future performances of the other songs in the works, so I will keep everyone informed of the progress of this large-scale work which, hopefully, will be heard in its entirety either with piano, chamber ensemble or full orchestra.

All information regarding how to attend the concert is listed below. If you have any trouble seeing it below this letter, please let me know and I will forward the information to you.

Thank you, all, and I look forward to seeing you.

Sincerely,
Kevin Scott
