"Nearly 12 years ago, Maestro Paul Freeman formalized his causal mentoring outreach with a few students into Audience Matters and Student Ensembles with Excellence and Diversity (SEED), Chicago
Sinfonietta’s impactful music education programs. These
programs now reach more than 2,000 students throughout Chicagoland.
We aim to provide children and young adults with an immersive,
inclusive opportunity to experience classical music in the concert hall and
the classroom. Maestro Freeman believed that young people can’t be what
they can’t see. We want students to see themselves as an active part of
the classical community regardless of race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic
status.
Give the gift of music and education with a donation to Chicago
Sinfonietta’s outreach programs. Your contribution will directly support
our mission of diversity and inclusion in classical music into 2019,
and for generations to come.
Thank you for your generosity!"
