Burgett ’68E, ’76E (PhD), a musician, scholar, teacher, and University leader for more than half a century,
is being remembered for his longstanding commitment to the University community. University flags are lowered today in memory of Burgett, who died Thursday at age 72. The community is invited to
share condolences or other messages on a memorial website.
