Sinfo-Nia Orchestra musicians and
ambassadors are holding a Send-Off Concert on Friday, June 30th at 7:00
PM with the Urban Strings Columbus Youth Orchestra of Columbus, Ohio.
Derrick Boazman, 1380 WAOK AM Radio Talk Show Host of "Too Much Truth"
is our illustrious MC for the evening. This concert will feature many of
the pieces to be performed during our tour.
Founded in 2007 by Catherine T. Willis with the support of Friends of Art for Community Enrichment, Urban Strings Columbus is a Central Ohio-based youth orchestra directed by Stephen Spottswood. It is comprised of serious, talented, young musicians who attend various public, private, charter, and suburban schools throughout metropolitan Columbus. We have completed many collaborations with this outstanding group, as our maestro, David E. Robinson, III is a beloved mentor.
