I'm happy to announce that on my classical music show on WHPK-FM (Chicago 88.5 locally and livestream www.whpk.org) I have programmed what could be the first radio broadcast anywhere of the Chineke! Orchestra first CD recording on the Signum Classics label of Sibelius' Finlandia and Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 (From the New World) conducted by Kevin John Edusei (recorded last September at Royal Festival Hall).

Also featured on the program will be Haydn's  String Quartets Op. 64, Nos. 4-6.

The show will be on Tuesday June 20 (12-3PM Central Daylight Time)
