Attending  the January 16, 2017 Los Angeles MLK Jr Parade televised by KABC Television afforded me the opportunity to reconnect with KABC reporter Leo Stallworth. In 2009, Leo Stallworth was host/announcer for concert celebrating bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln JUNETEENTH concert featuring West Coast premiere of composer Roy Harris Bicentennial Symphony sponsored by City of Long Beach and Long Beach Central Area Association. In 2010, Leo Stallworth was host/announcer and he was honored with his family during opening ceremony of JUNETEENTH Worldwide Concert featuring Salif Keita from South Africa at the Long Beach Performing Art Center. Salif Keita from Mali, Africa was world music artist of the year and the first African music performance in the history of the Long Beach Performing Art Center.
