AfriClassical asked what works will be performed. Maestro John McLaughlin Williams replied:
Aside from the arrangements I wrote for Thornetta Davis, we're doing
Copland's An Outdoor Overture, Duke Ellington's Fantasy, Arthur Benjamin's
Jamaican Rhumba, and José Pablo Moncayo's Huapango.
Thanks!
JMW

1) Thanks Bill! [John McLaughlin Williams]
2) This is a MUST see concert. Unfortunately, at this date, air transportation from Los Angeles is prohibitive. Best, John Malveaux
3) Thanks John. Thornetta is really something. I wouldn't expect you to make the trip out here for this show, but I hope to be out your way one day with LA Phil. All best, JMW
