I was fortunate to be a guest during the screening of the movie Minnie Mandela on September 3, 2013.
After recently presenting a concert to celebrate the 50th anniversary of 1963 March on Washington and MLK Jr. I HAVE A DREAM speech,  the concurrence of world events to liberate people of African descent from sub human conditions was noted as the trial of Nelson Mandela that changed South Africa began in the fall of 1963. Mandela announced that "the ideal of a democratic and free society" is one "for which I am prepared to die". See            http://www.theguardian.com/world/2007/apr/23/nelsonmandela1
