“I attended February 1, 2011 Mezzo Soprano Denyce Graves performance at the Kennedy Center in tribute to the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy and the historical performance of Grace Bumbry in the White House. The flawless and beautiful Ms. Graves received thunderous curtain calls and patiently autographed CD's and posed for pictures with grateful attendees after a
105-minute recital.
“On January 31 I received a Certificate of Honor from the African American Civil War Memorial Museum. John Malveaux wasa member of the 90th United States Colored Infantry.
