Darryl E. Harris, Sr.: 'Say hello to the 2nd bassoonist of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.'

Darryl Harris is an African American bassoonist with whom we have been in touch for some time. On Dec. 11, 2008 AfriClassical posted: “Bassoonist Darryl E. Harris, Sr. Plays at Children's Center for Communication and Development.” Darryl made a post in the Guest Book at yesterday:

"Darryl E. Harris, Sr Wednesday, 11/18/09, 10:01 PM The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra is performing the music of Mr. William Grant Still on this evening in Natchez Mississippi. WOW!!! This music is so WONDERFUL, it promises to be a great concert. The soloists, narrator are just incredible. 8:00pm at the Natchez Convention Center, if you come, say hello to the 2nd bassoonist of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.
