Dear Mr. Zick,

Good afternoon!

It is with great pleasure to have the opportunity to share with you a recent film project that I have been working on chronicling the career of the American Composer Dr. George Walker for the past thirteen years.
This short film will premiere at this years Nuit des Images at the photographic museum, Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne, Switzerland on June 24th.
You may know that Dr. Walker became the first black composer to receive the Pulitzer Prize in Music in 1996.
Here is a YouTube link where you can view the short film titled, “Discovering George Walker”.

Dr. Walker's most famous work the Lyric for Strings will be performed by the Chineke Orchestra at the BBC Proms on August 30th.
It is the most frequently performed work by a living American composer.
With best regards,
