NOBLE mourns the loss of law enforcement trailblazer Roberta Margaret Reddick

Roberta Margaret Reddick

In 1976, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives was formed. Although not Founding members of NOBLE, both Roberta Reddick and husband Albert Reddick were Charter Members of the organization. In 1985, both “Mom” and “Pop” Reddick began the Southern California Chapter of NOBLE which was incorporated in 1987 and the rest is history!

In a 2019, interview with the Los Angeles Sentinel, she shared this career and life philosophy: “Remember that there are possibilities. Set your goals and trust in God. Have faith that God knows what is best for you. It may not be what you believe, it may not come when you want it, but it will come. Trust in God.”

Roberta Reddick leaves behind a legacy of service, wisdom, and faith. Her legacy will continue to live on through the countless number of people, rank and file she helped and mentored. The lives she impacted, and perhaps most significantly, through the knowledge she planted in those of us who were blessed to have known her.

Roberta Reddick is survived by family members: daughter Judith Morrison, 3 granddaughters and 3 grandsons, her NOBLE family, and a host of family, friends, and colleagues. She will be dearly missed.

Rest in Peace Queen Mother!

The Family has advised that they are tentatively looking to have a celebration of life for "Mom" Reddick on February 5, 2022. There will be additional information provided as it becomes available.
